Background
Working closely with the new team based out of Taiwan. We explored how we could create trust between clients and ALCOLOCK, while introducing the license reinstatement program for the first time in the country.
The original design required the client to fill out a lengthy form of 12 fields, with information they won’t have readily available such as vehicle identification number and driver's license number. We found that clients would often drop out from the registration process due to how lengthy the application was. To solve this we shortened the process significantly, by having clients input only 2 required fields: their name and contact information. Once they submit the application the call centre provider will follow up and complete the rest.
Since this is a new service/program to Taiwan, we made sure all the necessary information is accessible on the site but also easy to digest. We broke down the program from start to finish to ensure clients have a thorough understanding, building trust through transparency.
Objective
Taiwan introduced for the first time a license reinstatement program for DUI offenders and ALCOLOCK expanded its services to Taiwan. The goal was to integrate a new program and have clients join by making it as simple as possible - as this is a "need-to" not a "want-to" product, ease of use and straightforward information is key.
